According to Il Romanista, there are doubts about Manuel Locatelli’s future at Juventus, with the midfielder recently linked to Bournemouth.
The 26-year-old Locatelli was excluded from Italy’s European Championship squad this summer, and in fact, he has failed to live up to expectations during his three years at Juventus (4 goals in 132 appearances). He was recently booed by some Juventus fans during a friendly match against the youth team.
Il Romanista reports that Locatelli’s future at Juventus is uncertain, but he could still play a role under manager Maurizio Sarri. He is not currently on the transfer list.
However, Juventus have been pursuing Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners this summer. If Koopmeiners joins the club, it would likely further limit Locatelli’s playing time, something the Italian is not willing to accept. Therefore, the possibility of Locatelli joining Bournemouth this summer cannot be ruled out.
