According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Roma still have a chance to sign Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
Chiesa has been publicly put up for sale by Juventus, with manager Maurizio Sarri even not calling the player up for the friendly matches. The player’s agent is in contact with several clubs, with Roma, Inter Milan and Napoli all interested. Roma are planning to meet with Chiesa’s agent, Ramadani, soon.
A month ago, Roma offered €20m plus bonuses, but the offer was rejected by Juventus and the player himself. Now, the transfer price has been significantly reduced, with Juventus willing to accept a fee of €15m. Additionally, Juventus manager Sarri is a big admirer of Roma winger Stephan El Shaarawy, and Roma are likely to include El Shaarawy in a deal for Chiesa.
