Roma signed La Liga top scorer Dvorak from Girona for €38 million this summer. In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Dvorak spoke about his move.
“After talking to Roma owner Friedkin, I ultimately decided to join. He made me feel very important, and I also talked to coach De Rossi and director Giulini. I trust them a lot, and I know the future will be bright at Roma.”
“Lukaku? He’s one of the strongest strikers in Europe, but I’m not the new Lukaku, I’m just Dvorak. I’ll do my best to show everyone what I can do.”
“Atlético wasn’t a good project for me because some people inside the club wanted me to join, while others didn’t. I didn’t feel their trust. Unlike Roma, this is the perfect club for me. I can feel their ambition, and they have a beautiful stadium.”
