August 17th Genoa officially announced that 25-year-old Italian striker Pinamonti has joined the club on loan from Sassuolo and will wear the number 19 shirt. The club will have the option to buy him after the loan period ends.
According to reports, Genoa will pay Sassuolo €2 million for the loan fee and €14 million to buy him outright at the end of the season.
Pinamonti, 25, came through the youth ranks at Chievo before joining Inter’s youth system in 2013. He has since played for Inter, Frosinone and Genoa, joining Sassuolo in 2023 for a fee of €20 million. Last season he made 40 appearances for Sassuolo, 38 starts, scoring 12 goals and providing 1 assist. His current market value is €15 million.
