AC Milan have officially announced the signing of Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
The 25-year-old Fofana, a defensive midfielder, was set to be out of contract with Monaco next summer. Milan have paid a total transfer fee of €25 million to secure his signature, and he has signed a four-year deal with the option of a further year. Milan manager Paulo Fonseca previously stated that Fofana would be the club’s final signing of the summer window.
Fofana will wear the No. 29 shirt for the Rossoneri.
