On June 26th, AS Roma released a statement confirming that they have extended the contract of their manager, Daniele De Rossi, until 2027.
De Rossi played a total of 616 games for the Giallorossi during his playing career, scoring 63 goals and providing 60 assists. He helped the club win one Serie A title and two Coppa Italia titles.
In January 2024, after a brief spell at Spal, De Rossi returned to Roma to take the managerial role. He led the team in 26 games, winning 14, drawing 6, and losing 6. After the 2023/24 season, Roma finished with 63 points, securing sixth place in Serie A and a spot in the UEFA Europa League for the next season.
