In the early hours of July 4, Serie B club Pisa officially announced that 50-year-old Filippo Inzaghi will be their new manager.
The 50-year-old Inzaghi is a legendary figure in Italian football, having won two Champions League titles with AC Milan and being a key member of the Italian national team that won the 2006 World Cup. After retiring, he has managed several Italian teams including AC Milan, Bologna, Benevento, and Salernitana.
Last season, Pisa finished 13th in Serie B with a record of 11 wins, 13 draws, and 14 losses. They will embark on a new journey under Filippo Inzaghi’s leadership in the new season.
