Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram is in advanced talks with Juventus over a five-year deal worth €20m plus €5m in add-ons.
The 23-year-old’s contract with the Ligue 1 club is entering its final year and they would prefer to secure a transfer fee this summer rather than risk losing him for free next year.
TA reports that there is no medical yet, no agreement signed and no contracts have been finalized for a deal that would run until 2029. Personal terms and agreements between the clubs are unlikely to be an issue, but no deal has been struck and no medical has been scheduled.
Thuram joined Nice in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer after his contract with Monaco expired. He has made 167 appearances for the French club, scoring nine goals. The midfielder has one cap for France but did not feature in their squad for this summer’s European Championship.
