In the early hours of July 4th, the official website of the Serie A league updated with a transfer announcement, confirming that 30-year-old Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has joined Inter Milan on a free transfer.
Zielinski’s contract with Napoli expired at the end of last season. According to Romano, Zielinski had already reached an agreement with Inter Milan in February to join the club on a free transfer, signing a long-term contract.
Zielinski has been a key player for Napoli since 2016, playing 28 games across all competitions last season, contributing 3 goals and 2 assists.
Meanwhile, the Serie A website also confirmed the transfer of 18-year-old Slovenian midfielder Luka Topolović to Inter.
