Today, according to Italian media outlet football-italia, Roma forward Andrea Belotti has accepted an offer from newly promoted Serie A side Como and will join the team next season.
Belotti was previously loaned to Fiorentina by Roma, where he scored three goals in 15 appearances for the Viola. Upon returning to Roma, he hoped to make a permanent move to Fiorentina, but the Viola have since turned their attention elsewhere. After several days of consideration, Belotti ultimately decided to accept Como’s offer, for a transfer fee of €5 million.
Belotti joined Roma as a free agent from Torino in 2022, scoring just 10 goals in 68 appearances for the Giallorossi. Como, led by former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, secured a return to Serie A after finishing second in Serie B last season.
