Lazio President Claudio Lotito spoke about the club’s pursuit of Mason Greenwood last year.
Lotito said: “Last year we almost signed Greenwood, but the transfer fell through at the last stage. Now we have another player on our transfer list, I can’t say his name, but he is ten times better than Greenwood.”
Last summer Greenwood eventually joined Getafe on loan. According to well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ligue 1 side Marseille are very keen on signing Greenwood and have already submitted a formal offer to Manchester United.
