According to Sport, AC Milan have not given up on their pursuit of Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, and are keen on signing him to strengthen their attack. Club advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has even personally called Morata to invite him to join the club.
The report claims that Ibrahimovic has contacted Morata and enquired about his willingness to join Milan.
Morata is currently with Spain at the European Championship. His contract with Atletico Madrid runs until 2026, and although there have been rumors of interest from other clubs this summer, he recently posted on social media stating that he will remain at Atletico next season.
