On July 13, Inter Milan officially announced that Iranian forward Taremi has joined the club on a free transfer, signing a contract until June 30, 2027.
Taremi previously played for Portuguese club Porto, where his contract expired this summer. Last season, he made 35 appearances for Porto, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists.
In their official statement, Inter Milan wrote that Taremi, the first Iranian player in the history of Inter Milan, has become an iconic figure for Iran’s national team. He made his debut for the Iranian national team on June 11, 2015. He has played 85 times for Iran, scoring 50 goals, and participated in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups with the Iranian national team.
