On July 6th, Juventus Football Club officially announced the signing of last season’s Serie A best goalkeeper, Gregorio, on a loan-to-buy deal.
According to Juventus’ official statement, Gregorio will join Juventus on loan for one year, with a loan fee of €4.5 million for the 24/25 season.
The loan includes an obligation to buy clause with certain performance-based conditions. Once the conditions are met, Juventus will have to purchase Gregorio for €13.5 million, payable in three installments.
As a result, the total cost of signing Gregorio could reach €18 million, aligning with Fabrizio Romano’s earlier reports.
Di Gregorio made 34 appearances for Monza last season, keeping 14 clean sheets. He was also named the Serie A’s best goalkeeper by the league.
