Champions League final, Carvajal and Vinicius scored one goal each, Real Madrid finally defeated Dortmund 2-0 to win the championship. After the game, Real Madrid midfielder Bellingham was interviewed by TNT Sports.
Bellingham said: “I’ve always dreamed of playing in the Champions League final. In life, a lot of people will tell you that you can’t do some things. When you encounter difficulties, you start to doubt whether it’s all worth it, and nights like tonight make it all worth it. I was fine until I saw my parents’ faces. They used to be able to go home at seven o’clock in the evening, but they would still be out at eleven or twelve taking me to play football. My brother is there, I try to be a role model for him. I can’t express it in words. This is the best night of my life.”
The 20-year-old Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Dortmund last summer for €105 million, and he has now won the Champions League title against his former club Dortmund. In just one year at Real Madrid, he has won the La Liga title and the Champions League title. So far, he and his teammate Vinicius are the strongest contenders for the Ballon d’Or this year.
