Dutch defender and current PSV Eindhoven player, Schouten, said in an interview that the draw against France has given the whole team great confidence.
Schouten admitted: “After the game against France, we are in a very good mental state. France is probably the favourite, and the fact that we didn’t lose the game, even almost won it, gives us the confidence to match any team.”
The PSV Eindhoven player said that there are certainly some things that could be improved, especially in the attack: “If we can’t push forward, so be it. We can’t dominate everyone for 90 minutes, especially at this level.”
