Thief Who Stole Thomas Müller’s Expensive Watches Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison

June 27, according to the German media “Bild”, a thief named Nove N. was sentenced to three and a half years in prison today. The reason was that he, along with two accomplices, broke into German star Thomas Müller’s villa and stole expensive watches and property worth nearly 400,000 euros, after which he was arrested by the police.

The incident occurred around 10 pm local time on September 13, 2022, when a silent alarm was triggered in Thomas Müller’s villa. At that time, it was halftime in Bayern Munich’s Champions League match against Barcelona. The three thieves stole 20,000 euros and 16 expensive watches (total value 386,000 euros), including luxury brands Patek Philippe and Rolex.

Nearly a year after the incident, the Serbian was arrested in Lisbon, Portugal. He has been detained in Munich since August 2023. Other cases emerged during the trial: in addition to Müller’s case, the gang allegedly also attempted to break into former German national team coach Matthias Sammer’s villa in Grünwald at night in September 2022. However, they gave up because the garden gate made a loud noise.
