On June 26th, according to German media outlet “Bild,” Italian international Zaccagni’s wife Chiara Nasti was once the ex-girlfriend of his Italian national team teammate Nicolò Zaniolo.
In the final group stage match of the European Championship, where Italy drew 1-1 against Croatia, Zaccagni scored a crucial equalizing goal in stoppage time of the second half, helping Italy successfully secure a draw against their opponent and advance to the round of 16 as the second-placed team in the group.
Zaccagni not only emerged as a national hero for Italy on the field but also enjoys a happy and fulfilling life off the pitch. His relationship with model Chiara Nasti is amicable; they welcomed their son Thiago in 2022 and later got married in 2023.
Interestingly, Nasti was also previously the girlfriend of Italian national team player Zaniolo. The couple broke up in April 2021. Zaniolo missed the European Championship held in Germany this summer due to a metatarsal fracture. Notably, Zaniolo played for Roma from 2018 to 2023, while Zaccagni was with their city rivals Lazio.
In May 2022, after Roma’s victory over Lazio in the derby match, Roma fans chanted the vulgar slogan “Zaccagni’s son is actually Zaniolo’s seed” during the victory celebrations.
