In the third round of the Europe Cup Group C, Slovenia drew 0-0 with England, making it into the Europe Cup knockout stage for the first time in history.
England and Denmark both advanced as Group C’s first and second place, respectively, with Slovenia qualifying as Group C’s third place. As Slovenia, with their 3 points in Group C, and Hungary, with 3 points in Group A, both qualified, Croatia, who was in third place in Group B, was officially eliminated.
So far, 11 teams have secured their spots in the Europe Cup’s Round of 16, with only 5 remaining. Among the 6 groups, only Group E has yet to have any team qualify or be eliminated as all 4 teams are tied at 3 points.
