Fans are causing trouble! TA: England fans arrested at every group stage match in the Euros

According to The Athletic, five England fans were arrested at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne ahead of England’s 0-0 draw with Slovenia.

Two fans were arrested for assault, two for attempting to enter the stadium without a ticket, and one for criminal damage. The British Transport Police confirmed the arrests in a statement on Wednesday, adding that most of the estimated 15,000 England fans in Cologne behaved well and there was no significant disorder.

Last week, eight England fans were arrested in Frankfurt after England drew 1-1 with Denmark, and another was arrested on June 16 ahead of England’s opening Euro match against Serbia.

Despite only winning one of their three group matches, England are still able to qualify for the knockout stage as Group C winners. They will be placed in the bottom half of the draw and will face Slovakia in the last 16.
