England narrowly won their Round of 16 clash against Slovakia 2-1 in extra time on July 1st.
Speaking after the match, England forward Ollie Watkins, who plays for Aston Villa, said: “Munu was very composed today, it was his debut and he didn’t seem nervous at all, his calmness is beyond his years.”
Watkins also told ITV, “As a midfielder, he’s got that running power, he’s got that composure, he can get out of tight spaces with the ball. I’m not afraid to say when he’s got the ball, the world is at his feet.”
“He’s so comfortable on the ball, he plays with so much freedom, you can see why he was called up for England.”
