England star Jude Bellingham scored the winning goal in the opening game of the European Championship, but has been struggling in the last two matches. Bellingham said in an interview that he is exhausted and the only thing keeping him going is the support of the fans.
Bellingham said: “The roar of the fans at the end of the game makes me feel energized. It’s like after the third game, I felt completely drained, but when you hear the fans singing in the stands, hearing them chant, I want to go out there and play my best. It’s normal that sometimes you can’t play your best.”
“The most important thing is that when you play for England, in front of England fans, you can’t give up. The fans’ response has been a constant reminder of that. I know there’s always negativity around us, but when you step on the pitch, it’s different. The fans give us energy, and we have to use it to succeed in this tournament.”
