French midfielder Adrien Rabiot recently spoke to the media about his future and Juventus’ new manager, Thiago Motta.
Rabiot reiterated that he had initially planned to decide his future before the start of the European Championships, but there was little time after the end of the season and he quickly returned to the training ground. Once he joined the national team, he wanted to focus on the goals and put everything else on the back burner. “Not knowing where I will play next season” is not a problem for him, he is still in contact with his mother and agent, Véronique, who is responsible for communicating with sporting director Giuntoli: “Someone is working for me. What I want to do in the future is confidential for now, but I’m not worried about my future.”
Speaking about Juventus’ new manager, Motta, Rabiot said: “He’s a great coach who has achieved great things since he started managing in Italy. We played together for four or five seasons at Paris Saint-Germain and we know each other well, but his appointment is not a key factor in my decision. He has his career, I have mine, but what he did, especially this year with Bologna, from a game and work perspective, I think it’s a very good choice for Juventus.”
