Recently, during a live stream, former Chinese national team player Mao Jianqing revealed that during Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Real Madrid, he gave all of his Champions League bonuses to the team staff.
Mao Jianqing said: “Let me tell you a story. We used to have a doctor in Shanghai Shenhua who was from (former) Real Madrid. (He told us) all of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Champions League bonuses, he didn’t want them. He gave them all to the medical staff and logistics. (This was) his personal Champions League bonuses. That’s what I call being awesome.”
