A Portuguese fan named Domingos Miranda traveled from Porto to Hamburg for the game, bringing his wife and two children along to watch the key battle between Portugal and France.
Speaking about the match, he said: “I believe Portugal can win, we have no choice, because it’s too early for Portugal to go home. It will be a tough game, but today Ronaldo will score and lead us to victory, we are not afraid of Mbappé.”
Another Portuguese fan said: “We will win, of course, we are not afraid of the French team. We will advance to the semi-finals, then the final, and finally celebrate the championship in Berlin, we will repeat our 2016 winning journey.”
