At 3:00 a.m. on July 6th, the European Championship quarter-finals will feature a key clash between France and Portugal. Ahead of the match, France head coach Didier Deschamps spoke to the media. He said Ronaldo still has the ability to decide games, and called France’s defensive solidity crucial in big matches. 
On France’s preparation for the match, Deschamps said: “The team is in good shape. On Ronaldo, Deschamps commented: “Ronaldo still has the ability to decide games. He also has decision-making ability and scoring power, which he will always possess. Even though he’s older now, he’s always a great competitor.”
Speaking about tomorrow’s match, Deschamps said: “It’s going to be a high-level match, both teams have players who can decide the outcome of the game. Portugal has a lot of great players, they’re one of the best teams in Europe. I believe it will be a great match. From the perspective of historical encounters, our scores have always been very close. I’m looking forward to a great game tomorrow.”
