Reputable journalist: Bellingham charged by UEFA for misconduct, but suspension remains unlikely

On the evening of July 1st, UEFA’s Ethics and Disciplinary Committee announced charges against Bellingham for potential violations of the Code of Conduct. However, well-known journalist John Cross from The Mirror said that the possibility of Bellingham being suspended remains very small.

Cross wrote on social media: “It was expected that Bellingham wouldn’t be punished… The chances of a suspension are still low, but the official investigation has been opened.”
