According to UEFA, the match ball uses the iconic visual elements of the group stage ball, featuring prominent black wings adorned with vibrant edges, curves and dots, reflecting the black, red and gold colours of host nation Germany.

The difference between this ball and the previous one: The white background is replaced by a dazzling silver, representing the trophy that the four finalist teams will compete for. The silver ball is specially designed and athlete-tested to ensure it stands out on the pitch and the surface does not reflect light.

It is worth noting that the new “FUSSBALLLIEBE FINALE” is also the first European Championship final official match ball to use Connected Ball technology, which provides real-time accurate football data to the video referees. This innovation combines player positional data with artificial intelligence, contributing to UEFA’s semi-automatic offside technology and becoming a key factor in supporting decision-making throughout the European Championship.
